ivan
That can't be right - the Windows car hasn't crashed. What would a Linux car look like? Edit. like Pete's kit car probably.
Daston
Ahh but the apple guy will charge you £700 just to open the bonnet and then a further £1000 to flick the switch
AndrewOW
surely the mac car wouldn't have windows Ah but with boot camp they may. Not that they'd want to though. Unless you're Nic that is
Scoboblio
The most realistic part of that pic is the overly smug look on the mac owner's face.

AndrewOW
all the way to no where!! soon mac will rule ze vorld Well I for one don't want them to, as they'd be the main target rather than Microsoft, but a little more recognition for their talent would be good though IMO. By the way I am a Macuser, and have been for a long time now. Windoze makes my eyes hurt Did anyone see that programme on Pixar over the weekend? I really want to work there!! JustGav
Sadly, albeit superb business acumen, Microsoft have to got the market firmly under control, however as far as supportability, reliability and general operation the Apple stuff is world's ahead. Gaz6002
I'm under the impression that beneath the flashy GUIs and packaging the Apple stuff isn't all that great. It's a problem for me as I may be somewhat forced to begin using an Apple and I'd like to know I won't be missing out on anything
JustGav
Oh behalf of Apple users everwhere, I thank you Hehehehe, just calling it as I see it with my limited experience of desktop systems (Os/2 warp, Windows all incantions (Including 2, 3.11....), Mac Classic, Jaguar, Tiger, Leopard) Linux is obviously by far better, HOWEVER mr Joe Bloggs would suffer trying to get it working. The best thing about the current versions of Mac, is that they are built on a fairly decent OS unlike the windows ones, where MS have tried to get all the apple features to work and failed. Anybody remember the original Vista feature list...how much was actually deployed.

Pete
Edit. like Pete's kit car probably. Home built, nerdy, tinkering all the time...I guess. Complete stability, not so sure on that one. http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u97/Walswebworld/Miscellaneous%20photos/2929.jpg 'Nuff said I call photoshop on that. SilverMachine
Let's not forget Apple's sleek lines, rather 'funky dashboard' and 'genie' on demand (shift+F13 unless annoyingly you're in Quark). Apple ALL the way for me. My work depends on it. Virus free, no colds or flu either and a 'beach ball' to look at while you wait a 'milli-second' for the heat protected RAM to feed the 8 core processors (half of one which you actually use). Just ordered another 8 core to build up the 'render farm' for the 3D stuff too. Mmmmmm. Gaz
Robert
i've used macs since system 7 when i was about 11 or 12, don't use anything else, have had everything from a powerbook 100 to a Mac pro.
