JustGav
Was invited to my director's house for his wife's birthday today, and it had been hinted that he had a few cars... Turns out he had some rather nice cars... His collection includes 1. Series 1 Landrover (Mint condition) 2. Triumph TR4A (Nice restored, not concourse since his wife ACTUALLY drives it) 3. Original Bedford Van 4. Talbot Sunbeam Number 5, I have completely fallen in love with... A Pembleton Brooklands. http://www.slipstreem.net/mkivsupra/images/IMAG010A.JPG http://www.slipstreem.net/mkivsupra/images//IMAG011A.JPG http://www.slipstreem.net/mkivsupra/images//IMAG012A.JPG

JustGav
wow, you have to love that I disappeared from the party into his garage and wasn't seen for an hour, there were rumours that I was getting jiggy with the cars But seriously I absolutely love the classic look of the old school race car..even down to the bronze nose section and the leather buckles. Isn't that a BMW bike engine. It is indeed, well spotted Looks like the rear axle from a 2CV ? How old is the car ? Well, here is the thing, I'm not sure if they are kit car style things and when I looked on the website there is actually a mention of a 2CV. Lovely looking car! Would love to see pics of the series 1 Landy if you have any too.... Will do, got a few on Mel's phone.

SteamAhead
Correct me if I'm wrong but is there not a trike version of the Pembleton? Sure I've seen one of these in three wheel form a couple of years back. As I now go off and have a search...... Does look a little cramped in that garage Still, looks like the man love's his cars. Jim Edit: Found it on first google page, doh! http://www.pembleton.co.uk/OwnersCar/album.html#

Oh he definitely like his cars, but he likes collecting the ones that people won't save, such as the Bedford That was one of his garages, he had another 3 Wonder if he wants a self-adopted son , and he did say I would be welcome to pop over on weekends and help fiddle with the cars. Tricky-Ricky
Here we go, better shot R80 R90 or R100, but I'm not sure which as they all look very similar, bet it would fly if they fitted the latter four to it:)
stevie_b
Not a great one I know. Looks like a really well looked-after example. Your boss's garage reminds me of Brooklands Motor Museum.
