bolarbag
The time was very impressive, how can a car that heavy go around that quick!!? If the V-spec comes out and is indeed the 400kg lighter that was reported then I'm guessing its going to give that ascari a run for its money! RiceRocket
It was slower, but just means I was even closer to my original estimate Gaz. http://www.achgohairithe.com/content/2008/03/smug2.JPG
tbourner
Anyone get the impression Clarkson likes the GTR?
SmigzyTT
TBH i dont think the spec-V will be 400kg lighter, maybe 150-200 at best with a small power hike to maybe 550ps.
Alex
lol @ 400Kgs lighter... As said 100-150Kgs max.
bolarbag
I'd say 400kg is defo an over statement, but if the car came with 18's instead of 20's and they removed the sound deadening and rear seats with perhaps a flurry of carbon fibre you never know...200kg would be easily acheiveable
johnny g
The M3 CSL is only 110kg lighter than the standard M3 - and with 25 more bhp IIRC, and it makes a big difference when pressing on. Anything over 100kgs with a small hike in power will see a devastating machine IMO. EDIT: M3 CSL is only 17bhp more (343bhp to 360bhp)
