Don't scroll down if you don't want to spoil things but apparently the GTR has been on track and will be shown on Sunday, someone has apparently leaked the time though....

1:18.4 – Pagani Zonda F

1:18.9 – Nissan GTR (TBC - Has not been aired)

1:18.9 – Maserati MC12

1:19.0 – Ferrari Enzo

1:19.5 – Ariel Atom 2 300

1:19.7 – Nissan GTR

1:19.7 – Ferrari 430 Scuderia

1:19.8 – Porsche Carrera GT

A little bit impressive.

Edit: It actually did a 1:19.7 - whoever started the rumour was taking poop, impressive all the same

I think the Maserati MC12 should be higher, as it's older, and looks much nicer :)

Bloody Hell though!... Not bad for a sub £50k Japbox :) - Certainly a damn sight better than the £300k+ Porsche GT, and the Enzo!

I'm not sure how this'd go in the 'driving' vs computers argument though, as isn't the Enzo full of them too?... Maybe the GTR's just got 'better' ones :)

IMHO "The Ring" is being used as a marketing tool, Nissan have done it & GM are now taking it a step further. How on earth could a car shave 9 seconds off it's previous best time, you'd be looking at 100th's maybe 10th's of a second a lap at best.

Again there's no way I'm going to believe JC & his bunch of caravan blowing up halfwits as to how quick a car is. He's as bent as a ten bob bit.

I will eat my hat when a GTR passes me on the A1 :p

There's nothing that says straight lines can't look good, you could say that the R32 was futuristic as in the future it's going to be straight lines everywhere, Tron, the taxi out of Total Recall, the game Elite...

That Porsche makes the ship out of the 'Flight of the Navigator' look normal, how can we love normal! :(

Why is it so big, why is so oddly styled. I wouldnt buy a Supra if it was in a colour I didnt like, theres no chance I would buy a car in a body style I didnt like...however good the performance / dynamics etc, its just not very good looking.
