I can recall only one time which was in the wet and on roads that neither myself or Rob had ever driven before.

 

Back on the m-ways IIRC correctly both me and Rob handed Matt his arse.

Tom, At no time did you and i ever go 'head to head' as it were, and as a new to TT driver, i was taking it easy as im sure you are aware, that's the sensible thing to do.

 

Didn't see you anywhere once id got the hang of it ;)

NAs aren't slow. It's just that TTs are faster.

 

My old NA had very respectable performance after the decat and exhaust freed it up a little.

 

Agree with this, in fact I gave my NA too little respect at the Tesco roundabout at Thurrock a few weeks ago and ended up almost doing a 360, it is a great car and so much fun to drive, I will get another one soon for track days as the single is just to expensive to break :D

I do believe by then I was driving a TT Aristo (3 yrs I owned the NA)

there all parked next to the tvrs and 300zxs on the hard shoulder:p

 

the tech section of this forum should be renamed the "turbo tech section" i dont think i ever posted in there ;)
