Its different and if you like it then thats all that matters , if TRD had come out with it then everyone would be saying how cool it was , you should have said it was the new endurance hood for the jap touring cars !!!!and seen the reaction , its the opposite to my idea in that it goes under rather than on top of the bonnet but you go for it dude

Well done for doing it. Who ever worked on it, did a superb job, the bonnet fit is perfect. If the finish matches the look of the workmanship it must look stunning in good light and dry.

 

 

 

It is unique and certainly will turn heads and may look a lot better in the flesh on a good bright day.

 

 

 

 

 

I just don’t think the angles look right on such a curvaceous car.

 

 

 

Please no more pics of eyebrows, its so yesterdays chav. Take them off and the bonnet might look even better.

you have to expect people wont like it when u change the standard supra look. you should not care what people think if you like it. if you were asking for opinions and get shocked when most people dont like it.

i had one on my 200sx and it looked brilliant..... untill it started to bubble from the heat under the bonnet

looks cool ray, i put some pictures of mine up last weekend and got a right slating for the eyebrows, so i spent the day taking them off yesterday and cleaning all the glue off, a right pain, but the best bit of advice ive had. the bonnet looks different so im all for it

its unique.. thats for sure, the problem is that those styles are designed originally for smaller hatchbacks. means they are more in scale that way. on a big car like supra, you need more subtle designs to make a better effect.. well at lease thats my opinion.. but i say keep it! it will get people looking and talking!!!!

As Max Bygraves used to say "I'll tell you a little story". Last Summer parked in Tesco carpark talking up two places so doors didn't get bashed. Came out and there were two old dears about 60 and 90 stood by my car. Thought they were going to give me ear ache for the way I parked. The oldest one said "is this your car?". "Yes", I said, in a sheepish manner. She replied "it's gorgeous". I offered to let her sit in it, which she accepted and started the engine. I said that she could take it for a spin, to which she replied " I would love to, but would probably end up swallowing my false teeth" !!!!

 

So the Toyota Supra is respected by kids who follow F'n'F and elderly alike...

Sorry but it bears as much resemblence to a F50 bonnet as i do to George Cloony.

It's certainly different, and you've got to admit, it must have taken some balls to take the plunge and hack a perfectly good bonnet up and hope it looks ok.

 

The thing is, there's not really much about Ray's car that is subtle and under stated, so to be honest I think it suits the rest of the car and compliments the previous mods (except the eye brows).

 

It wouldn't suit my car, but hey...... it's not on my car is it? Yet
