Gaz6002 Posted July 19, 2008 Share Posted July 19, 2008 Pressure is to do with the heat rising, i'm refering to the heat being transfered from molecule to molecule due to difference in temperature.. surely thats aided much more effectively with moving air There is always going to be moving air under there, it's how the air is moving that dictates how it is dispersed. The "Toyota" OEM method is going to be the best setup IMO as they've actually looked into it, researched it and got accurate figures. movistar Posted July 19, 2008 Share Posted July 19, 2008 The UK bonnet scoop was designed to reduce the heat on the rear turbo.This only really came into some sort of use over 100mph...hence jap imports(limited to 112 mph) not having them...or so iam led to believe?!
