What is this plug for?

Looks like the cruise control actuator plug. Just been pulled through and cable tied up by the looks of it.

The car was a GZ auto so that would make sense. The cruise system has been missing for some time but seems to have the mounting points for it. The wiring on the car is all over the place so am not surprised if it's been moved. My last (RZ 6spd) car didn't have this plug.

Thanks Jezz, I'll ignore it for the time being :)

Active spoiler? I think I have the same hanging loose on mine.

There's another plug down by the point where the active spoiler motor used to be which is the active spoiler plug. Is it towards the front of the wheel well on your one Steve? This one is at the top, near to the point where the airbag wiring enters the cabin (yellow wiring)

This one is not connected to it in any way. I'd like to trace the wires back but they go though the drivers fusebox and main dash loom so it'll be really difficult to track the wires back...

Yup that's where my spare connector is - I figured what else could be down that way normally. It does sound like yours is something else.
