hemmjonny
Hello alll. I am thinking of geting my car resprayed this year. its red at the min just wanted to know what other types of red are there and where to get them from. at the min i like candy apple red but i have been told that is not cheap + stone chips are a nightmare to repair and Lotus canyon red been quoted £1500 for a respray depending on the paint. colsoop
I would get on the net and look at some car manafacturers you like and see what they have for shades of red. Aston martin has quite a nice maroony type red.
Gerry
Sounds very cheap to me, carefull Take it for somebody who knows about "cheap" paint jobs ---------- At Goodwood FOS last weekend all the Alfa's were a lovely red. I asked the chap if it was standard and he said, nope it was "special" ! Looked very like dark CandyApple.
hemmjonny
Yeah not a bad price but i am paying cash + i fix he computers so i get a bit of discount and he is the only one for miles and miles. He does a lot of work for the company i work for and the vans are always geting knocked about and when he sprays them they look like new. JustGav
Who mentioned Vauxhall red? Is that same shade as Nova Pink? Friend of mine had a nova in red, and it would shine lovely for 2 days after being polished, but day 5 it was a lovely shade of pink... He didn't live it down, eventually broke the car flying off a bridge....
