keener
The first bungy jump I did was a butt clenching moment. On the video I look fine until I have to let go just before I jump and my face just drops. Classic moment to watch back now! 1st time I lost the back end of a car was pretty pant changing too as I hadn't a clue what to do!
ivan
Having some scrote in Bosnia shoot at the landrover I was driving as I went past. Bullet went right through the canopy about a foot behind my head. Having a grenade thrown at us by a youngster just after we got out of said landrover. Luckily it exploded at the back so we were shielded from the blast. Hearing a sharp 'CRACK' from the other side of a hedge in NI and realising it was a failed bomb detonation. Andy-No-Knee
In an iso container in Bosnia which we used as our stores, standing at a desk reading a serial number off a radio in poor light to suddenly find an nice neat row of light emitting holes in the steel wall of the iso walking towards me..... as some git outside saw me walk in and decised to fire his AK into the iso to see what he hit! Danger close arty rounds landing.... well dangerously close! My own fault I called them in! And then had to adjust onto the target which was also...danger close. Live contact with some poxy loon area weapon in my patrol (he had a rifle but was called an area weapon) with one eye (it seemed like it) with my sides rounds less than a foot from my ear. First time I fired a Barret .50 cal. Bloody near shat meself! 170mph on my Aprilia RSVR Mille on the straight at Snetterton, and then highsiding it on the corner right after, I held on tight and my arse was about 4 foot in the air and the back of the bike fishtailing and then hitting engine cut and me then landing back on the seat and coasting into the gravel. White water rafting and falling out of the raft........ The Balloon Jump.......
Gaz6002
When I was a ski instructor I broke 2 vertibrae (c4 and c5) in my neck when I popped a 25 foot jump and landed on my head. I couldn't move for 3 days and was off work for 18 months. That scared the sh*t out of me.

Charlotte
How did that scare you? You had 9 months notice both times My friend made me laugh the other day. She was on the way to the hospital (in labour with her first baby) and she said to her mum 'oh god, I'm scared now - it actually has to come out, it's actually happening!'. Her mum was like errr it did 9 months ago!

SupraStar 3000
I dont get scared at stuff like speed, height, danger etc,.. Its the normal stuff that scares me like,.. 'wondering can I last another month at work' and 'my parents health'. Worst of all,... 'will I die single and unhappy without any siblings'. And,.. 'will I contribute to society in any meaningful way'.

Animal
The scariest (and certainly daftest) thing I remember doing was brake-testing a ruddy big bin wagon when I was on the bike. This thing pulled out of the local recycling depot damn near wiping me out so I overtook it, got a bit ahead and jammed the brakes on giving him the finger. Next thing I see in my mirror is this wagon sliding sideways towards me so I gassed it and nobbed off sharpish. Still makes me cringe when I think back to it.
