bloody hell, either one of mine would have eaten all the food, run around barking, chased the kids, etc... generally caused havoc and chaos.

:D

:yeahthat: our staffie would be a nightmare in that situation, too much going on around her and she gets to excited.

I'm starting to go off cats. How is it acceptable for every cat in the neighbourhood to use my driveway as their toilet, but it's not OK for me to leave my dogs poo around???

Agreed, loads of the buggers down our street and as you say they use everywhere but their own garden to go to the loo. Also they seem to end up sleeping on top of cars parked on drives, the damage they cause with grit covered claws is a joke.

Now, should my collie go and plonk it's arse on a neighbours car and damage it then there would be hell to pay, also I feel I'm watched everytime he goes to the loo to see if I clean up after........Hows that work then?

I choose to own a dog, I look after it and make sure it doesn't affect neighbours or the general public as I respect others yet it seems we have to put up with others cats and their 'habits'?

Don't get me wrong, I like all animals but dog owners get such a rough time of it compared to cat owners.

What would you suggest then if you don't mind me completely hijacking your thread? :)

Sorry I totally missed this earlier. Well, it depends on a lot of things. Your lifestyle, you energy level, if there is anything particular you want from a dog? (showing, agility, flyball, companion etc) and the type of dogs you like, big, small, short coat, long coat etc.

Tell me :)
