Supragal
He has been such an angel this weekend. I him!!! Firstly I went to a BBQ for 180 people and ended up getting roped into helping cook on one of the (many) BBQs so he had to lie there not going anywhere, not tied up, while I cooked literally about 3ft away from a hog roast! His little face when they opened the marquee up to reveal the pig was like "errrr are you kidding me?" then he had to basically trapse around after me while I did various jobs then sit and watch everyone eat too. He just did exactly what he was told, what an angel. He had kids prodding him and people gooing over him all day, and still he was perfectly behaved. Then he must have stood on some glass and cut his paw so I had to take him to the vet and it needed stitching so he had a general and now had a massive bandage on his foot - he hasn't even attempted to chew it/remove it etc (shouldn't tempt fate really) and he has to go for lead walks only with a plastic bag over it to keep the bandage clean and dry - has be batted an eyelid even at the crackling sound? Nope. Even walked past an entire school trip of kids all pointing and squeeking at him and trying to stroke him with no warning... again just calmly dealth with it. Plus this is his 2nd general in less than a week. He's starting to not like the vets now... Anyway, I know this is nothing to do with Supras but I'm not yet sad enough to join a dog forum but I needed to give him a 'big up' for being such a little hero All hail Stig!!! http://img512.imageshack.us/img512/543/squirrelnw9.jpg

grahamc
bloody hell, either one of mine would have eaten all the food, run around barking, chased the kids, etc... generally caused havoc and chaos.

That is pretty much what every dog owner in the Q for the pork said too! Right before they accidentally dropped food off their overloaded plates right in front of his nose. That helped!!! Supragal
Dog forums are funny. I hope we'll be able to get ours to act like that! I can only imagine that they are full of sad lonely old women with far too many opinions. ALthough I take that back a bit if you're a member haha. It has taken 2.5 years of hard work in fairness but it's all paying off now.

How is it acceptable for every cat in the neighbourhood to use my driveway as their toilet, but it's not OK for me to leave my dogs poo around??? Supragal
click I still love cats, but can't wait to get our pup! Thing is, they are a totally different species so comparing whether they are allowed to wander isn't a real argument... but I should be able to insist that the owners clear up after them!! When are you getting yours? You're getting one of those fluffy snow dogs aren't you?
