No I didn't time myself this time but might do next time.

It was really hot and sunny when I was there so lots of grip but meant the engine was also quite hot after a lap. Did around 7 laps (1 on a damp track that wasn''t too bad though) during the week. I didn't have any problems but it doesn't take much to make a mistake!

I thought the viper ride was amazing. Although I don't have alot to compare it to. Tyres screeching from start to finish, the driver I was with Markus didn't hold back. Flying through the traffic on the track was the best part for me. The car just ate everyone up for breakfast. As one point there was a Porsche GT3 in front of us. Markus jokes "That is a very fast car.....but we are faster!!" and we say goodbye to Mr GT3. You need total trust in the driver as I was thinking "were not going to make it throught that gap, are we?" We did come very close to going up the back of someone as the driver didn't more over as expected!! But it was great, brakes full on, car heats up like a microwave and stinks of tyre rubber!

I saw the 'ring taxi' going around the track and this was very fast as well. But if you want really quick go for the Viper. Ring taxi is also cheaper as you can split the cost between 3 of you, but the viper is a 2 seater race car with 450hp!

Also the ring taxi was fully booked all week whilst the viper was just sat there on the Sunday afternoon waiting to show me how the track should be driven!

I didn't do any more laps in my Supra after that, as it would have been such a let down ;-)

Can't wait to go again!

James

p.s I think you can learn the orders of the corners on forza 2 but the gradiants are much steeper in real life!!
