Guest RichyRZ-S
Hi folks, Just bought my first Supra(RZ-S Twin Turbo VVT-i Tiptronic) and cant remove the smile off my face. Im guessing yous know the feeling ! I have a question I am sure some of you can answer, and it may seem a bit strange - Rather than start to modify my car to increase BHP and Torque etc; Say If I wanted to get more power etc but I still want the car to be comfortable and practicle - How far would I go and what mods would i make and in which order would I make these?? Gaz6002
Have a read up on BPU mate, that is as far as most want to go with a Supra. It's a bit mental in that state of tune. The more you modify, the more chance of something going wrong. Things like new suspension with full geo setup, new OEM bushes and some decent brake pads will also have a positive affect on your driving experience. You could also look at some nice seats to make the cabin a nicer place to be?

Nic
Welcome to the club Richy What is the current spec of the car, any First things I would do if I had bought a new Supra, before contemplating modifying it I would get it to a specialist and have it thoroughly checked over and given a full service ie. all fluids, filters, plugs, etc. I would also get the tyres balance checked and get the geometry/alignment checked/adjusted. This way you will know it is in tip top mechanical order. Do you know what brakes you have fitted? The Supra came with 2 options the smaller 2pot fronts and 1 pot rears and the larger 4 pot fronts 2pot rears. If you have the smaller brakes, the first modification I would do would be to fit the larger brakes as they are vastly superior. I would also get a decent set of pads fitted, braided brake lines and decent brake fluid. Also if not already fitted a decent set of tyres. Pics of the larger brakes here http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=98436 Only then (once the handling and braking was all sorted) would I start to think about upping the performance.
