Ric
Well The time has come for me to return to the fold and naturally i was looking for a decent deal insurance wise.. Skys best offering was 1200 for me this year for some reason. Ive always shyed away from using Adrian flux as they have always given me silly quotations but not this time. Fully comp, agreed value, like for like all for 820quid, good lads, me = very happy

marbleapple
HI Ric, My second lowest quote was from Flux. Some £600 less than Sky. I am sure you have tried, but if you have not, ring GreenLight... they beat Flux for me.

ivan
That's at least three quotes lately from Sky that have been comprehensively beaten by their competitors (by hundreds, not tenners). Dibbleyuk mentioned that they had "changed their criteria" not long ago which could be the reason. Mods, maybe it's time ask for clarification from them. hiten55
adrian flux are doing agreed value now?? i see a lot of owners going their way... used to be with them on my 306, great company to deal with i must say
bigcol
yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! till you try and cancel your policy and lets see how your minds will change then:d:d:d
flukey-lukey
Flux quoted me £800 FC blah blah, Sky matched it. I'm the same age as Ric and live not too far away so can't see why there would be a £400 difference? So whos did you buy then? I think its Colsoops too
Guest Budz86
I just took a quote for Flux this morning, they we're the best by about £1200! Although, when I asked if I could do an agreed valuation, they said not for my type of policy, something to do with me driving a supe. What is this about cancelling with them!? Has anyone has bad experiance's as this make's me feel slightly uncomfortable at the moment!

Daston
Adrian flux was the only company to insure me on the TVR that was actually a sensible quote! £1140 with protected NCB and breakdown! The RZ was more than that! All the other quotes were £3000+!
arvind8811
I'm with flux, they gave me the lowest quote of £785, im 29 and only 1 yr NCB! Sky couldn't insure me as i dint have any experience with performance cars before.

BASHTHEBISHOP
Flux did quote lower than sky for me although not by much. I went back to sky and they matched it. All others were miles out. Only one adrian flux person according to the insurance social group i setup though
michael
I was with Adrian Flux for about 3 years before moving to Sky, their prices weren't so bad but for me Sky were cheaper. One thing they did do that annoyed me was charge a small fortune to cancel a policy compared with others I've used. This year when I rang they said they would be able to quote me if I emailed them a spec list and all my info, I did this, followed it up... got ignored. It used to annoy me when I went to Norwich and saw house nice their offices are on the way, knock £200 off my premium and work out of an industrial estate damn it! TopgunTT
I'm with Flux 47 fully comp like for like mods guarenteed evaluation protec ncb £560.Been with them for 2years now. They have quoted me £529 with agreed value, like for like mods, but they want me to take the policy out first, then i send in pics, even though we have agreed a value over the phone. My concern is i have nothing in writing up front, What if they said they didnt agree after i started the policy. Warick and davis quoted me £440 without agreed value but its something i want. I had to send in pics, front, back, both sides, engine bay, interior,I also sent pics of all the other mods that i could(there was quite a lot)came back no problem.I think they just want to be sure you have what you say you have,if they can see that then they don't seem to have a problem.Try asking them if the agreed evaluation is not agreed can you cancell the policy with no claw backs, also ask them to make sure the agreed evaluation is compleated within the 14day cooling down period. As i have said had this policy for 2nd year now with no problems.Good luck.
