Jake
Charged up the battery on my 93 RZ Auto and tried to start the old girl up but the starter motor just clicks very rapidly and very loudly. "Toyota Reliability" my arse, it's only been two years since I last started her up. So what do I need to do? Obviously I'll need to take the starter motor off but then what? Just free up/clean/lubricate the external parts or will I need to take it to bits? I've never taken a starter motor apart and put it back together. Chris Wilson
I'd put jump leads on it and it should start............ Battery is knackered.

Konrad
Check battery clamps too, if one of them will be loose or cracked, you will have clicks too. I would change oil too before starting up engine after 2 years...
