boost hit 1.6

Fitted a greedy boost controler this morning and with all setting low a went for a drive ready to raise the boost up but when i floored it it boosted to 1.6 span the wheels and i soiled my pants.

Now im 100% sure its fitted right and i have read the instructions over and over again so what am i doing wrong guys ?

Car is vvti with 1 bar rr and decated

What should it do ?

 

With it turned off it should run the standard boost level it was running before the bc was fitted. If it's running higher than it was before the install, there must be a leak on one of the vacuum hoses.

Just been for another run and yes it boosted to 1.3 but i was being carefull this time ,ill check the pipes again but i used all new so cant see that its a leak. there are 2 X ports with NO on the valve and 1X com port. instructions says to remove all plastic plugs which leaves one of the NO ports open is this right ?

There are 3 ports 'NO', 'NC' and 'COM', you need the hoses connected to 'NO' and 'COM' if running standard turbos with internal wastegate.
