Guest DrifterWanaB
Hello all, The previous owner has put some clear indicators in the front bumper, when i indicate the indicators flash too fast like what happens when you have a bulb out, but all bulbs are working. I think this has some thing to do with the resistence/capacity of the bulbs propbably in the new front indicators is too low? any suggestions to get them right? jaymdee
You sure all the bulbs are working? I had this once and found i had a side light bulb come out a bit and it needed to be pushed back in

merckx
Like you say the wattage of the bulbs is probably too low. I'm not sure if the pre-facelift and facelift cars use the same bulbs.
Whitesupraboy2
Are they LED bulbs?
JustGav
Are they LED bulbs? Exactly what I was thinking, probably find the side repeaters are LED, when using LED a suitable resistor should be put in line to maintain the correct flash speed. ivan
Looks like you need one of these: http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/complete-flasher-unit-stops-fast-flashing-indicators-p-978.html?osCsid=9108306997dc94a2fd22b1c126244f84
merckx
That's handy, I didn't know that these were available.
Stan
A cheaper option would be: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Load-resistors-LED-indicator-stop-tail-light-bulbs_W0QQitemZ220255575670QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item220255575670&_trksid=p3286.m14.l1318 That's what I used when I put LED bulbs in my prelude, you just splice one side into the +ve and one into the -ve wire that goes to each bulb you've replaced
