123tom123tom
If one of the blades on a turbo is chipped at the corner will it still work properly, am not talking like half a blade a mean like 2mm-3mm chipped off the corner....
uk-rich
it will unbalance the turbo, which will cause premature seal wear

Branners
j-specs will fall apart quicker if chipped. The turbo spins way faster than a washing machine and you know what happens if you load all your big pants in to a washing machine badly, it bumps across the room and then the bearings fall out. Sadly your turbos will go the same way if you keep running with chipped blades. steel blades last a little longer, but will fall apart quite quickly. JustGav
Sorry but that is k-nackered... It will seriously unbalance the turbine which does spin at silly speed. Best case just spat out, worst case engine eats it
RobSheffield
BAD BAD BAD! As Gav says the turbos spin around/above 100,000 rpm

Chris Wilson
That's a scrapper, you could get it rebuilt if it's not one of those Ebay things. Probably not worth it though. S/hand turbos are very risky.

123tom123tom
going by that table which didnt make much sense:) but i managed to pick a few bits out and it says max rwhp 580. Am happy with that but still what is it that indicates how quick it will spool. Any advise there?
