Flip
All paid and pm'd, Now who else is running a N/A? One of mine is N/A - does that count? It's only a lowly 1 litre too. Here's a question... for us people with adjustable suspension that can be bothered to play with it, should it be set up on its hardest setting, or softest for maximum rear grip? JamieP
softest.
Flip
softest. Thought so, for compliance over surface imperfections? Thanks for confirming!
tDR
Thought so, for compliance over surface imperfections? Thanks for confirming! No, for optimum weight transfer front to rear on the launch and so better traction as the rear 'digs in' more. You also wanna be running positive camber really (hardly anyone has the right suspension bits on their car to allow this though) so that as the rear of the car squats the camber becomes neutral and so maximum contact patch of the tyres is forced onto the tarmac. Cheers, Brian.
Flip
ahhh ok, that makes sense too! And so does the camber description, thanks! Though I probably won't bother with that one, opening the boot and clicking the suspension around a bit is a lot easier than getting the spanners out! Should be a good fun day out... miko_supra
We will do a day planner for everybody shortly, there is one in SteveRs thread about Supra Pod details including timings. Basically you will come through the main gates and we check you off against the list. You then go to the main pit area and park up. At 9.30am they open the sign-on and you go and sign-on there. You will need your full driving licence including picture part. Then at 10am you line up with everybody else and we start the racing. There will be a club gazeebo where at least 1 moderator or events person will be located so you can always ask questions there. Thanks mate!
