tonyhawk
I've just downloaded the V62 form from the DVLA to put my Supe back into my name (it was in my friends name for money grabbing ex-wife reasons) and because we can't find the V5 it's cost me 25 quid! I know I haven't done this for a while, but I don't remember there being a tax, sorry, charge for that before? I don't mind being proved wrong there, but it feels like the government had a sit down and thought long and hard about how many ways they can make the motorist pay for their financial shortcommings.... Rant over.
turbonut
They'll shaft you from every direction mate, fact of life I can't believe they tax you with a SORN too if you want to take it off the road, since you do it to save costs and its one less car to pollute/clog the roads (even though a supra does both in style!! ) stinker isn't it? sympathise fully hun Linda x
tonyhawk
Cheers, all sympathy following a govermental rogering is greatly appreciated. She's going back on the road soon and after having read a recent thread about the road tax debacle I'll be asuming the position and thinking of how the MP's couldn't give a damn as they don't pay it! Not Impressed

jaymdee
£25 to transfer ownership and prevent ex-wife getting the car seems like a good price to me
