jacko
Lol at this thread, a prime example of people being taken in by drivel, I love how mines have taken it upon themselves to increase the rpm limit to 8500rpm when Toyota sat way down in the 7's and high 6's I gather the ecu has a more aggressive map in terms of fueling and ign timing, caring more for performance than economy but revving to 8.5k rpm isn't going to do you any good on those turbos and camshaft setup I gather this ecu comes with a predefined list of mods other wise its a pointless addition:rolleyes: Just for reference, there is no chance this ecu increases boost:d As far as im aware, when cars are manufactured they are set up for the worst case scenario ie- to run on low grade fuel and never be serviced. All mines do is optimise what the car already has and make it work better, is that not the case? No the ecu does not raise boost levels, but it does as you say have a more aggressive map, thus enabling it to cope with higher boost levels. On the performance v economy point, it's a Supra..... I dont think good economy was ever on the cards... @supraGZaerotop - These ecu's will work on a stock Supra with cats and will give a performance increase, but obviously the increase would be greater without cats etc...
