Do any of these plants give off that nasty fishy / dead meat smell ?

Only if you don't feed or water them ;)

I know there are some plants that do that to attract the flies, but I don't think anyone would really want them in their house. Or maybe you do :eyebrows:

I'd still really like one, what's available?

Hi mate,

5 - Medium with lots of small offshoots £10

Cup Trap

Small £8

Cropped Tooth

Small £8

lol, they have never let off this smell before when hungry but when it catches a juicy meal there is a little smell close up. You have to watch it with the Pitchers plants i have, about 50 dead flies in each trap can really make your eyes water .

Payment sent... (Bloody HSBC going backwards again, they have now removed the options to make BACS payments from their internet banking and would prefer people to phone up instead...go figure)

I just want to say a big thank you to Dazzi for my new 'pets'. :)

They turned up this morning, really well packaged and in great condition.

Do I have to keep the soil as moist (with rain water) as they've come, or are they alright being watered like normal house plants?

Thanks again :)

Glad to hear they turned up ok! :D

I enclosed a small dish with the plant. Sit the pot in the tray and water till the plant is standing in it. This imitates the swaps they live in :)

Anything else, please ask.

Thanks again

Daz

Will do :salute:

All I need now is a rain water collection device. Maybe a bowl in the garden :)

A guy that lives behind me bought a large bin for 5 quid and hooked it upto his drainpipe - this after me spending 20 quid on a water butt :(

:D
