Cheers guys.

Mid to low 10's this year then :eyebrows:

Dunno mate, not sure ill get the same traction i did on the 15's.

The 17's are better for me though as i cant be arsed with changing brakes and this way i can drive to the pod with my drag wheels on, where did you get your tyres bud? what make and size are they?

As above Jamie, black looks so much better. Has it just been sprayed or covered with something?

Sprayed matt black, match's the stock dash very well i think.

The dash looks lovely and will look the nuts if you get it flocked!!

Are you going to get the whole dash flocked or just the main dash fronts??

loved the flocking, will get it all done with time.

Very nice. Love the TRD. Good luck at the pod. I'm sure you'll be on the winners podium

Cheers Mark, i like the look of the trd but tbh i prefer driving with my other wheel as it sits closer on the quick release hub, might sell it.

I know dude, don't you just hate big spec cars that never get used as god intended, not a problem we will ever have dude;)

Check out this site the series might be fun

'hi mate visit http://www.outlawstreet.co.uk if you are interested in competing in a drag series for fast road cars '

Whats your best 60ft on them?

1.647 at Shakey :D

Didn't really get a chance to use them at Suprapod as youmay remember my arches were rubbing :( and haven't been back there since.

All my best times have come from 1.6 to 1.7 60ft times

With a little help from track men at York Raceway and Ian at Webster they have given me things to try for improving my launch.

Not to long on tyre warm!

Don't make the car lurch on 1st to 2nd gear change overloading rear wheels and changing weight to rear of axle!

Revs at launch, this varies from track to track and weather conditions etc.

Tyre pressure, i was running to low on pressure trying to compensate for less tyre wall and tyre spread. Ian put me right on this

I'm hoping this year that i'll do 1.5's constantly and not use a set of tyres ever meeting

This should mean i'll be runningmid to low 11's constantly and perhaps pick up a trophy in Pro drag series on one of the weekend.

If funds allow i may get my light weight 15" wheels this year and see what difference they make along with changing by diff ratio :innocent: (Thanks Mike)

One change at a time though to measure what difference is made

I also think the green wasn't my style - but I don't think the "flocked" approach will be much better either. I *do* like the suede though....

The pics of the flocked stuff dont do it justice mate, looks amazing i think, really moderns up the interior.
