Lee P
What you doing with the dyno queen now? Will have to see how it goes. I am going to try and blow it up so I have an excuse for one of those stroker thingys you have Its easy to get the bug and want more, all I ever wanted from mine is to know that I took it as far as it would go. nigelboyne
jamie you have had 550/630 and now 730bhp. do you know how much hp is required to get the supra to 200mph in say 3 or 4 mile straight comfortabely. its great seeing hugh hp figures from you guys. yourself lee chingy paul superadibbs and others. dude
Its Lee's fault, he keeps raising the bar:D Im just looking for that compromise between spool and power, im wishing i went bigger turbo tbh. Try my 76 Billet DBB when the cars running J, its going on the Full race twin wastegate manifold but would bolt straight on yours, I may go for a large frame T6 if the cars too slow;) So the 76 may be for sale. Top speed dont interest me much tbh, i like acceleration, it all gets a bit to dangerous for me after 180. Myself Lee and Colin are competing in thunder road end of march, be good to see what we can do on the standing mile.

If you could find one then I would say 600hp will get it to 200mph. The benchmark now seems to be standing mile type runs, I would say you need around 1000hp to be hitting the magic 200 in under a mile.

From previous posts i think he is talking autobahns but i agree, stand 1 mile run will be a great indicator of how fast a car is, takes away a lot of the problems (excuses;)) people have with traction. nigelboyne
fifth gear did a test 850bhp ford siera reached 200mph in a mile. .plenty of places to get to 200mph just need enough power to get there in 3 miles or so.
