You want a good offset with OEM skirts, and I say this from a totally unbiased standpoint :D

I'm pretty sure it was your old car the persuaded me to get a set of Hiro's, did you have them on the red beast at one point?

This the largest intercooler availabe out on the market!! Our front mount intercooler has enough flow to support 1500+ RWHP.

Not sure about the intercooler choice, is it not a bit big for your setup Jamie?

The end tank design is 'unusual', cast end tanks with smooth curves as used on the HKS and ARC FMIC should give a much smoother air flow.

If it too big it would make it a bit laggier, the HKS intercooler is the best flowing intercooler around.

From what ive read it would make little to no difference with lag.

Im not an expert but if its good enough for the boostlogic cars its good enough for me.

and as i say a lot cheaper than hks and greddy stuff ive been quoted on which is a big factor for me:)

Can you have to big? cant see there being a downside myself and like the idea of keeping it all the same make, plus it was a good price.

Yes, one thats 200 gallons would not be ideal :D

If the IC is oversized then it will introduce lag, the IC volume should be matched to the cooling the turbo requires, which based on some very rough figures (which tbh are years old), an HKS or Greddy 3 row is perfect size for the Bl T67. You might get a little extra lag on the big BL one. I guess the question is whether you want to introduce a 100-200 rpm lag into the system at lower loads. At high loads there will be b*gger all difference.

looks great jamie! i'd keep the exterior completely stock! i no the supras are very quick standard but theres going to be moments when something bigger is going to try playing! and in my mind theres nothing sweeter than seeing that something bigger getting its ass kicked because he / she's made the mistake of assuming its stock!

assumtion is the mother of all f*ck up's! ;)

What i want to know is people have been buying boostlogic stuff for years and never heard a bad word against them, soon as i buy something i get told its crap:d

Sorry Jamie the rest of the spec looks well thought out. I read the BL blurb boasting how their intercooler was the biggest available, so had a look on their website to see what it was like.

It has obviously been spec'd for big turbo applications ie. drag racing/dyno queen Supras. Saying it will support 1500+ rwhp is a good marketing claim I guess (bigger is always better in the US ;) ), but for your set up it is not ideal. As Daryl said once on boost you'd probably not notice the difference, but it will make a difference to low down response.

This article may be worth a read.

No problem tbh i never even looked at the pic,i brought it because ive only ever heard good stuff about boostlogic and it was in my budget, i can see what you are saying about the swooping curves of the end tank designs but i will take my chances now as its all paid for and see what happens on the dyno.
