johnd-mkiv Posted July 9, 2008 Share Posted July 9, 2008 (edited) Im helping my friend with an na to single turbo project he already has the turbo kit PHR stage 1 and a few other bits but I need to know the basic upgrades he will need to support this kit size of injectors? where to get them from ect uprated clutch? head gasket (does this have to be changed) ecu/ piggyback spark plugs can a 6 speed turbo clutch be used on the na flywheel? any thing else I have missed, basically need your advice with this as im not sure what the na will require cant find much in the search. He is looking for a budget build at the mo. thanks john I can help you on the clutch side of things, I have an RPS Street max clutch on my NA-TT and it holds the power fine. 6speed Clutch cannot be used as the flywheel is different i know when doing NA-TT conversions you have to fit the NA flywheel to the TT engine and buy an uprated clutch for the NA. He is looking for a budget build at the mo. thanks john Injectors i would go for 440's or the generation 3 i think Rx7 high impedance (550s i think) ones as they drop into the na fuel rail (or so im told) clutch i would suggest the RPS Stage 4 Max 6 Puck or the Stage 3 Max Street, as said above Kyle is the man for these! Head gasket i would go for the stock TT as it doesnt lower too much. the minimum i would run is the Emanage Blue piggyback. easy to map.... an AFR is a MUST!
