nickball75
may be a daft question but is the sup gonna be drivable if I remove the dash panels? is everything within fixed in place? Im thinking about taking the originals of for spraying but need it for work
Supradoopa
You can still hook up all the heater controls and odo lights etc just make sure you put the dimmer switch back in or you'll have no indicators. Or is it sidelights one of the two.
DannoSupra
I drove mine for months with no dash panels. But i had everything off the panels and connected up to the loom still
Homer
IIRC you can, but need the hazard warning unit in place otherwise the indicators won't work. If driving at night you'll also need the dimmer switch otherwise the instrument cluster won't light. From a safety point of view I'd also fit the heater panel - you don't want the car fogging up! Stratty
As Long as everything is plugged back in I dont see why not. I know the airbag light stays on if you dont plug everything back in. I am sure someone will elaborate further.
nickball75
Brilliant job. I didnt realise there was so much to take off but im guessing its just all plug and play right?

Its the top left cluster with the warning light on... if its comes on, its like a crystal maze game putting the light out
supraspeed
if u wanted to completely rip out the dash, centre console....everything and make a completely new design would it still be legal- obviously with all switches working
bodilx6
You need to keep the top bar with the odometer in place when you have ignition on. Else you will have the airbag light on afterwards with the need to do the difficult fix using TC+AB in the diagnostics port...
Jake
You need to keep the top bar with the odometer in place when you have ignition on. Else you will have the airbag light on afterwards ...assuming his car has an airbag.
