Are people carrier drivers the new BMW drivers?

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed an alarming increase in the number of utter cocks driving people carriers?

Spent the last few days racking up a fair few miles in both the diesel Pug 106 and the Supra and found myself getting fucking annoyed at them.

In the pug it was mainly motorway miles and on 4 separate occasions looked in my rear mirror to see a people carrier right up my cars ass at 70 mph when it's pissing down with rain. One of them then proceeded to undertake 3 cars and was weaving in and out of traffic on a soaking wet day.

Then in the Supra twice I got a couple of cocks trying to race me one in Vauxhall Zafira VXR with wife and kids in tow. Looked like his Mrs was giving him an ear bending though :D

Anyone else noticed this with people carrier drivers?

I totally agree. People who drive pedo carriers are all wan4ers.

Its like the have a grudge because they had to sell the "fast" car to accommodate the family, but they still drive the van like its a sports car.

:yeahthat: I've seen a few of these about too. The Vauxhall Zafira VXR is definitely the worst IMO.

Cheers, I drive a Seat Alhambra for work. They have a good driver position (bit higher up than 'normal' cars) so you can generally see things ahead better, they're also pretty good for cruising on M-ways at 'outside lane' speeds.

Maybe it was a rental with a BMW/Audi driver at the wheel? Porche Cayans and BMW X5 seems to be the most ignorant/agressive drivers on M-Ways when it comes to MPVs

There's numpties driving all cars, even Supras.

:)

Like over school walls and above park hedgerows.

:D

I'm only kidin fella. ;)

Like you said, all cars types have some poor drivers behind the wheel.

But if im honest, it seems to me a lot of people carrier drivers have something to prove on the roads.

Maybe I'm wrong though.

I wonder if it's to do with the elovated driver postion (like 4X4's and the good old white van drivers). My mate drives a land rover and I hate being in the thing with him driving. He's not overly aggressive but NEVER indicates and cuts lanes a hell of a lot just cos he's in a 4x4.

It's probably a combination of the two with People Carrier drivers, the elevated driving position making them think they're king of the road and the fact that they've had to grudgingly sell their Golf GTI / Focus ST/ Astra VXR to get the rugrat carrier.
