Shocking, don't get how they can do that to a dog. Where does the law stand on this? If your dog had attacked them after they were doing that to it, would the authorities still demand he be put down? If it's attacked and fights back, who can blame him? If someone held my mouth open i'd certainly bite the fookers!

No idea on the law but it usually has a degree of common sense. I'd also point out that they would have to prove it was your dog that bit him and lets be honest your hadly going to say 'honest cop gov... take my dog away'.

I would imagine that you would get the same treatment as you do if someone breaks into your house and you defend yourself.

 

The innocent party gets the punishment... this country is going down the drain fast.

couldnt have put it better. you should have smashed their heads in. put it this way they put their scum hands on something thats yours. doesnt matter what it is, its yours and the dis-respected, they deserve to have thier ass's kicked. my uncle has a Rottweiler that is friendly but some idiot tried something funny (cant say what) and that dog bit through a ford fiesta's door...... trying to get at him, luckily the dog was heavily trained, he was almost put down but you piss with these animals and your asking for trouble. I'll see if i can track down a photo of the dog with sheet metal in his mouth that he ripped off.
