RedM
Aren't you supposed to stay in the middle lane so you can overtake on both sides? Or is that just the drivers of German cars and people carriers?
terribleturner
Think i've seen it before, but very good. May go out later and take some pictures that i can submit
Gaz Walker
Think I am going to get the sticker for my car! Its probably the most annoying thing anyone can do on the roads. Gaz.
toyotasuprauk
Oh dear I think I may be guiltily some times! Left lane has caravans, lorries and OAP's doing 50mph, middle lane has me doing 75mph and right lane has reps and white vans doing 100mph. Rather than changing lanes every time I come up behind a slow car or other cars are joining from sliproads I can stay in the middle lane, doesnt seem that bad? Whitelightning
I like to constantly change lanes in a zig zag motion to the vibes of my music
how_supra
Well it is, stop doing it please. It is really annoying. I think a really loud horn would do the trick. Or a big flashing neon sign!!!!! I only end up undertaking in the end which is very dangerous I know. But in my defense, I think the police should be "punishing" the people who cause the problem not those who act as a result of the cause
cashpoint
Been stopped twice by the police for undertaking (never in the supra though) both time they gave me a warning then went on to say they can see why i did it Current record for undertaking cars is 23 before having to over take Please just get in the right (left hand) lane
michael
I think a really loud horn would do the trick. Me too but unfortunately I'm usually in the Supra with it's girly horn
paul_y3k
Oh dear I think I may be guiltily some times! Left lane has caravans, lorries and OAP's doing 50mph, middle lane has me doing 75mph and right lane has reps and white vans doing 100mph. Rather than changing lanes every time I come up behind a slow car or other cars are joining from sliproads I can stay in the middle lane, doesnt seem that bad? Nothing wrnog with that at all mate. The highway code states 'On a three-lane dual carriageway, you may use the middle lane or the right-hand lane to overtake but return to the middle and then the left-hand lane when it is safe. ' the key word here is SAFE Clearly if they are all doing 50mph and yoo are in lane 2, overtaking them, then it would not be safe to enter lane 1 and have to slow down to 50mph to avoid hitting the next car. Or if you do slow down enough, you then have to potential to cause another problem when pulling out into lane2 again ... I think the site is really just having a pop at the idiots that stay out in lane 2 when lane 1 in empty for miles... What your doing is perfectly acceptable
bens747
Don't think Middle Lane Morons counted on the Boxhill run to the Fairmile Pub .... we was passing on all sides .... bless em ... didn't know what the F*ck was happening when we passed them ..... to you middle lane morons, we don't care cos we use all the motorway ... heckler
what if you hog the right hand lane?
Sharpie
The first lane on some m/ways is like driving through roadworks due to the trucks leave two big grooved lanes...I can see why the MLM do it. I live in the 3rd lane but, do have to move over due to the 3LM and MLM hogging the road while 1st lane is free for 100m
Scoboblio
"Overtaking on the left is not an offence in the United Kingdom." I thought it was. I know there are circumstances when it is acceptable, i.e, in slow moving traffic etc, but this suprised me.
Homer
I hate Middle lane hogs, but hate the 3rd lane hogs more!! For years I have followed the "move to the left rule" all the way from the Welsh M4 sliproad to London and arrived in London at the same time as the merc/bmw that sat in the 3rd lane the entire bloody journey. What makes this worse is that due to my 'following the highway code' I move the 2nd/1st lane and then all the cars in the 3rd lane bunch up and don't let me back in when I reach a slower moving vehicle in front. My patience for these lane hogs has completely run out and I now mostly just cruise the 1st/2nd lanes leaving the 3rd lane hogs to their business... problem is its just a matter of time until I get pulled over for undertaking...
