Chris Wilson Posted July 7, 2008 Author Share Posted July 7, 2008 I remember her driving through Manchester when I was about 6, and some drunk came up to her door when we were stopped at traffic lights. He was swearing and shouting and wanting a lift, and she was saying no. He made a grab for the ignition keys, and suddenly we were going backwards, with the V of the open door dragging this fella's foot under the front wheel. He dragged himself out, very shocked, hollering and screaming. She just said "Wow, it works, your dad told me to do that if anyone ever tried to get in the car, he usually talks rubbish!".
