Alex
If you can't wait around for a couple of mins after finishing a journey then they are a good investment....though alot of cooling can be done by simply driving at very low revs for the last mile of your journey. Blitz and HKS etc all do them and they are all very much the same. They are one of the simpler mods to do but you'll have to take your dash apart to complete it. The other option is to get an alarm with a TTimer built in.
Phil Wall
According to the OM, The engine should be left running for 20 seconds after continuous driving at 50 mph, 1 minute after continuos driving at 63 mph, and 2 minutes after continuos driving over 63 mph. I normally set my timer (HKS) to one minute when I am parking at home as I have about one and a half minutes of 30 mph driving. The most difficult place is motorway services, as you come from high speed to stop in a very short time so have no cool down motoring. I usually set the timer for four minutes or more depending on the boost levels I have been using.
