I know most of them just one or two im not sure on. Does anyone know of a thread showing the image and what they mean? cheers

Kaan W
Sorry to bring an old thread up but what lights should be displayed with the key in the on postion without engine started? Also is the low oil level/pressure for the transmission too? Thanks Edited January 5, 2013 by Kaan W (see edit history)
Digsy
They should all come on (all the ones you have anyway). The "key on" is so you can check the bulbs in the warnng lights. Oil level / pressure is only for the engine.

Its just I have my transmission off at the minute so I cant check which lights turn off once started and wondered if the oil level/pressure lights was because theres no transmission fluid. ashbuster
hmm with mine the door and seatbelt light dont show when the key is on, and the abs doesnt either but they all work. when the engine is running the seatbelt and door one works as it should and i know the abs works because i tried it
Dnk
If the abs light doesn't work i'm pretty sure its a fail on the mot
ashbuster
ill have to look at the bulb, what about the door and seatbelt one mate because they do work when the engine is running. should it be on without the engine running? im on a facelift dash if that makes a difference
Dnk
I have no idea on those, isn't there an mot guide on here somewhere, be worth a search or even start an up to date thread on new mot regulations

kargato
Well my master warning lamp is on constantly, and I have not seen all those lights that were listed by jev. So I was wondering if a blown warning bulb would cause the Master warning to stay on after the engine has been started, and the hand brake has been released, because as we all know, the master lamp stays on with the handbrake, and I think if a door or boot is open as well? I sorted all the dash lights that were off, but I also had an underlying fault witht he active spoiler. Disconnecting the ecu sorted my warning lamp issue.
