cheekymonkey
Hi All I have new Eagle F1 GSD3 tyres on the rear (275/35) I need new front tyres, should I go for the same GSD3 ones or get the new Asymmetric tyres? 235/40 on the front. Cheers James
Jazzy
I've just replaced the rears on mine (had the GS-D3's on before) and after reading the blurb on the Goodyear site I decided to stick with the same. Goodyear seem to suggest that the new Asymmetric's are a little bit designed as an all round performance tyre, with decent comfort levels/noise, whereas the GS-D3 is a more out and out dry weather performance tyre. http://eu.goodyear.com/uk_en/tires/summerperformance/

Andy Blyth
If it helps, I've found the assymmetrics to be as good as the GSD3s in the dry and better than the GSD3s in the wet. Not a bad tyre all round. Not a true scientific comparison mind, I had the GSD3s on a front wheel drive car.
