juanchan
Yeah, what Martin said. There's a guy at work wanting to upgrade his Focus ST170 to a Celica GT4, and he keeps pestering me about what to look for on Celicas, simply because Toyota made Celicas and Supras. I've told him to have a browse on the Celica forums (I'm assuming there are some...), but he keeps saying he can't be bothered as it's too much hassle! supra_aero
install boost controller decat. with aftermarket exhaust install a power fc with commander and get it remapped. Worth getting some gauges for a rx7 for boost/oil and water temp. V. important for a rx7. Done. 360bhp - v.v.quick

Don't go over 1 Bar boost until you've done something with the turbos. TTC is a good mod on the RX7 and is very popular. There is even a setting on the Power FC to change the map accordingly. PM me and I'll put you in contact with a guy who can do this. A V-Mount FMIC and rad is also a good idea.

Yeh I never went over 0.8 bar boost - no need to really it'll be fast enough I can assure you that.
mr keef
the problem is everything you do you gota keep getting it mapped...id say do as much as you can or want all at once, then drive like saint keeping the car at very low revs to your nearest mapper and get it mapped, otherwise the cost will go sky high, even more so if you pop the engine:(
AndyT
Pretty sure Mr Whiffin will have all the details you need mate.
hadyn
Yeah a Power FC/Aftermarket ECU is vital for an RX7 as soon as you do the slightest of mods. You need to get the fuelling etc spot on just for adding a zorst as the stock ECU cant compensate for basic mods. Thats what I think the score is with RX7s anyway.. kieren1234
Many thanks for all the help. I will get him to sign up to the rx-7 forums and do a bit more research. I have been in it and it is standard at the minute and feels very slow to me....... His first Bov is stuck open for some reason so he needs to get the looked at too. Regards.
