JustGav
the adertive is a lucas adertive, well its gone now so no need to worry about it. additive, damn it, additive!!!!
Tricky-Ricky
There's nothing wrong with it no, but personally for the money I don't see why you wouldn't go for a decent fully syn. It is a performance car after all not a family hatchback. The only real difference between semi and fully synth is the time/miles its good for, unless your going for the more exotic high shear types, have a read of oilman's meanderings;)

mikeyb10supra
something is going terribly wrong somewhere along the lines. Of late I have lost track of the crazy newb questions we keep getting flooded with...adding additives to oil is yet another one

Tricky-Ricky
Does "oilman" recommend semi-synthetic for the Supra? I have no idea, was just pointing out that as his name is often taken for Gospel on here, that he doesn't seem to think that just because its labelled as fully synthetic is always the dogs dangles;)

bondango
Opieoils recommend the following for the Supra TT :- Castrol GTX 10w-40 Diesel Engine Oil meets ACEA B3 Price: £18.17 inc vat Fuchs TITAN XTR 10W/40 High Performance Semi-Synthetic Engine Oil Price: £17.63 inc vat Silkolene XTR 10W-40 High Performance Semi-Synthetic Engine Oil Price: £14.10 inc vat Silkolene XTR 10W-40 High performance semi-synthetic engine oil A3/B3 Was: £13.00 Sale Price: £11.69 inc vat Castrol GTX 10w-40 Engine Oil meets ACEA A3/B3 Price: £18.17 inc vat Castrol Magnatec 10W-40 Semi-Synthetic Diesel Engine Oil meets ACEA B3 Price: £25.17 inc vat Fuchs TITAN SYN DIESEL 10W-40 Ultimate Performance, Full Synthetic, Diesel Price: £21.15 inc vat Motul 6100 Synergie+ 10W-40 Gasoline and Diesel engine oil Technosynthese Price: £22.33 inc vat Amsoil Synthetic Engine Oil (AMO) 10w-40 Was: £48.10 Sale Price: £44.64 inc vat REDLINE High Performance Synthetic Motor Oil 10w-40 Price: £43.48 inc vat Now, as you can see lots of Semi's in there (no pun intended) and a Deisel oil (no idea why) So i would say whats makes an important choice is how you drive the car, or its current modifications/power. This means different viscosity's of oil come into play. i.e. Lots of tracks days, or once a week driven. Then according to this, choice of semi vs full synth i.e. with a tracked car, the better protection of a fully synth, or a normal road car, Semi with increased service intervals. This is Probably why the Usual Pro-s or Pro-r recommendations are not listed, as the above are recommended for standard engines. Ps Listing from Opieoils website
