Gaz6002
It was a difficult question. Especially under the high pressure circumstances of a television broadcast, and one poor man in the hotseat. The translation is poor, it should have been "what gravitates around the earth", this is a lot harder to answer than "what rotates around the earth". For 500 Euros? Digsy
it's pretty basic physics and even more basic geometry. if the earth is the centre point the sun rotates round the earth. (every day too.) it is just a matter of perspective. similarly the earth goes round the moon, just as the moon goes around the earth. now laugh away. Points of view and perspective aside, the earth cannot be argued to go around the moon, as the moon rotates so as to keep the same side facing the earth all the time. If you were stood on the moon, the earth would appear stationary in the sky.

Scott
Ok, when i first saw this (earth orbit) i asked my wife to have a look as i found it hilarious. It was late at night and she was going to bed so she said to save it for later. I bookmarked it and forgot all about it. Tonight, i remembered and decided to show her. I was grinning as the video started, right up till the point where the question came up and my Wife answered "I don't actually know that either, is it the Sun". I think i'll put her in the for sale section.

I've put her on Ebay, but she's not getting many bids
Scott
It must be a girl thing, i just asked a friend online and she said... "All of them?" I asked if she was serious and she answered, i would have said the sun but i didn't think that was right.

AndrewOW
I don't believe any of you, and that video is fake. Its definitely true. Ask her support worker She did genuinely answer 'the sun', but it was asked as a question more than an answer. My poor nephew
AndrewOW
Just to prove that its not a fake and as an update on this, I asked this question to a another female friend of mine earlier this evening, and her answer was... None of them(?) !
