Chris Wilson
Or how to make your rivals look stupid at Bathurst 2008 http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=diQ2YJQtXK8&feature=related What's an XY-GTHO? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GTHO_Phase_III Got to say for a 1971 barge it sure picks its old feet up, and was pedalled well Glad I got the sound working on the PC, too, impressive engine noise. Homer
Wow, thats impressive A neigbour is currently rebuilding an Australian Falcon (think it was an AUS only model), it's rough as hell as it's not moved since the 80's, but still has the original Cleveland and 4 speed in it

Chris Wilson
I used to race against a guy called Chris Crawford who built a simply stunning (and stunningly expensive) Can Am all alloy Chevy 8 litre engined Esprit Special GT car, now THAT sounded wonderful. If you got stuck behind it in the pitlane waiting to form up on the grid you became comatose within a minute with the damned fumes from the thing, even at a 1800 RPM idle it emitted like a whatsit It disappeared off the scene a few years ago, it was a truly magnificent beast when it wasn't chewing up transaxles. Chris Wilson
And finally, what I remember as one of the best qualifying laps at Bathurst, Greg Murphy in 2003, awesome lap! http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=7MaNiV7Kwe4&feature=related

Chris Wilson
It's one of the few big races I'd love to attend as a spectator, they put on a real show over there. I have a couple of DVD's showing the Skyline R32 era, they just mopped up, I was sad to see them effectively banned, but hell, nothing could really touch them. The Sierras were pretty spectacular, too, when they weren't blowing up.
