Just don't try and get in the passenger seat (tiny) Reliability - he might have wanted to read up first if he doesn't know Handling is the strong point on the RX7 imo, it will out-handle a Supra until the higher speeds (140+) The rotary engine is.... marmite. Some love it, I hate it. It's very revvy, like a bike engine. Also very loud and on idle can sometimes sound very ropey, especially with a large port. It is a great "fun" car - tell your bro to enjoy it, just treat it with respect. Warming up the car properly is very important. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Any opinions welcome. great to drive, v. impractical when lowered (dependant on bodykit) and expensive to maintain. Drinks ridiculous amounts of petrol. Headlights like the supra are poor for driving at night. That one has a mazdaspeed vers. A bumper (correct me if i am wrong) so you might be ok with it. I found stock seats v.uncomfortable after 40 mins+ of driving. Handle well, not as well as supe in my opinion. Stunning acceleration and relatively easy to get 360bhp out of. I shall have to put the supra p against him and see what happens I would imagine the handling to be alot better than the supra as they are relatively smaller and quite low. I have thought long and hard about both the Supra and the RX7 and I don't think it's right really to compare the two. They are different types of cars IMO and should be treated as such.
