alex2jz
Hey! I bought my first Supra from the UK a few months ago and it's great i love it (my first one and certainly not my last) Car is a non turbo 6spd facelift and according to the service record it's time for a air filter change also wanting to add a little grunt to it i was thinking of purchasing a Stock Replacement Air Filter from K&N , the thing is i vaguely remember reading somewhere to use only Toyota OEM filters on N\A's cause others may harm the engine of course this gives me a little bit of a hold back is this thing true? Thank you Edited June 29, 2008 by alex2jz (see edit history)
Homer
Aftermarket kits or elements have no proven perfomance advantage over OEM, so from a longevity (and cost) point of view there's simply no point going for an aftermarket filter. The stock one does the job perfectly as it is
