Why do people say that?

It's shorter than a Supra and only about 7 inches wider. Hardly enormous!

I test drove a C5 a year ago or so and it just seemed so much bigger than my Supe did. Being sat at the other side of the cabin probably didn't help. I didn't know it was only a little larger than a 911, my old 993 seemed much smaller.

Steering felt fairly vague too, although maybe it was just a bad one. It was enough to put me off. Sounded amazing though!

:search:I'm confused.

George loves the Nurburgring even more than me, and goes over there half a dozen times a year. Recently, when they got there, they told him he was banned for the weekend for posting videos up online - and took the decision that he wasn't going to do it again. So I'm not spreading the word about the videos that are already up there, just in case it's one that the 'Ring authorities haven't seen and I end up leading them to it and getting George into more hot water. :(

I was there!!

I missed the private session while they did that lap - it was stupidly early in the morning.

It must have been a huge deal with all the Corvette owners, because there were a load of owners clubs there from all over the place - at least 8 in our hotel from Finland, with everything from 60s stingrays onwards.

Oh, and I did a sedate 10:17
