meph137
Not a new member, but just bought my first supe! Bought it from boot3yz, on this thread. Just had the first weekend with it, and (as well as getting used to it pissing its fuel away, where does it all go?! ) its been pretty damn amazing! Its crazy having that much power, even when not flooring it...just give it a nudge and its off I'm not used to a car where I have to actually moderate my foot that much, you get the feeling with the supe if you give it a bit too much on the peddle you'll be ending up off the road, probably backwards...so yeh gotta take it careful, I drive like a grandad most the time anyway So, check out the thread at the top for pics, or just see below for one of the ones booty posted

Lukeyboy2k
Congrats. If I didn't already own a Supe that particular car would've been pretty close to the top of my wanted list. Keep driving like a Grandad for a while.

meph137
Cheers guys, I am really pleased, cost me the maximum of my budget but I realised it was absolutely amazing when I saw it the first time, and reasiled it had been absolutely cherised by chris, the past owner. Hats off to him, he seems to have really looked after it. When I drove it on a country road today I was almost thinking I shouldn't be doing this, it will be more likely to get stonechips! meph137
Plus, still getting used to its fuel usage, I almost whince every time I give it some gas :S but when the feel how fast it goes forward, it slightly alleviates the pain

TTRickeh
Hi mate congrats on your new car I know what you mean about fuel though, cost me £75 to fill it up earlier, yuk!
meph137
yeh, nasty nasty fuel! one thing I'm confused about, I read its an 80 litre tank, I got BP Ultimate @ £1.22 I think it was earlier, so that means that 80 * 1.22 = £97.60, so very nearly £100! yet most people fill up with about £80, I know the tank wont be totally empty, but not far off, the warning light comes on at 10 litres roughly...the tank prob isn't 80 exact I guess. Also, another question, in general do the fuel guages on cars normally go down in a linear way, some seem to go slow for the first half and fast for the last half, or that could just be my brain Edited June 29, 2008 by meph137 (see edit history)
