supraturbochris
something that is really confusing me and just wondering if anyone had the same problem. It all started the other day, but its got worse last night. When i come to a set of traffic lights or just let the car idle. The revs drop to like 300rpm like it wants to cut out, but it dont and the revs pick up again, when im driving there is a slight hesetion there, bit like a misfire but i dont think it is, Now i gave the supe a full service about 300 miles ago, but didnt change the fuel filter. Because of this fuel strike at shell garages i couldnt use v-power so i went to esso and used the suprime stuff. I filled up again last night, using v-power but its still doing the same thing. My supe is running full bpu, but when i bought the car, the owner said he replaced the fuel pump with a walboro fuel pump, but there was nothing to prove this. Any idea's anyone? supra_surj
I had this problem quite abit. Mine turned out to be the idle control valve that needed a good clean. After that its been fine. To be honest I stopped using the esso stuff, car ran like a dog when I used it. Change of fuel filter may help I'm sure.
