Hmm...who was detective Hoffman as i cant remember!

In Saw IV it starts with the autopsy and the tape being found, Jigsaw left that for Hoffman but you don't realise it's meant just for him and not any old detective until the end of the film...

Are you there detective? If you are listening to this, then you must be the last man standing. You feel you now have control, don't you? You think you will walk away untested. I promise that my work will continue. THAT I have ensured. By hearing this tape some will assume that this is over but I am still among you. You think it's over just because I am dead. It's not over, the games have just begun.

Spoiler in white font (highlight to reveal) = Hoffman was the one who walked away from the electric chair next to guy who's head was crushed.

They release one every Halloween don't they. They've even planned Saw 6 already.

Ah yes i remember now as i said to michael, i think maybe Saw V is feasable but anymore than that, the whole Saw films are going to go to pot and become stupid imo...:(

The guy who plays Hoffman has signed up for VI so I guess he's the main man now.

The original was excellent, the rest have milked it a bit but they are still quite good to watch just for the puzzles.

One of the only films I've ever seen people walk out of because it was too gruesome for them too which is always a good sign, having said that I think the hype got them worked up in advance last time, I didn't think it was as bad as some of the earlier ones.

I loved the first one, the plot lines have got progressively less interesting each time and IMO the gore is now gore for gore's sake, rather than fitting in nicely with the plot. Had to look away at the twisty machine bit in 3. :taped:

Still very very good entertainment though. :)
