dibbleyuk
Hello guys, I went down to see my gf's stepdad the other day to have the exhuast welded up on my lil swift his garage is beside his mum and stepdads jaguar specialist they have some real classic cars in there for different things but when i saw this parked in there having a service and cambelt change my mouth hit the floor never seen one before, its massive :) has only done 4000miles from new and is one of only 3 RHD models in this colour. Yes its a XJ220 if its still there next week going to pop over for a photoshoot with the supra

Kranz
I once had a drive in one at Milbrook.... I only drove from the Jag garage to the gate LOL I had a day out there with the Jag test driver (John Taylor IIRC)that did all the shakedown testing on the XJ220's after they were built & before delivery to customers. Going round the banked circuit at 170 was a bit scary The best wit was the ride & handling circuit. Vauxhall was having a fleet test day for its big fleet buyers. All these Cavaliers and astras were pootling around the narrow & winding road. John said "Watch this" and floored the 220. All the little vauxhalls seemed to stand still as we flew buy with inches to spare either side. Great car, but absolutely enormous
The Raven
The wheels are still vile. 4000 miles or a number of years? is the reason the belt is getting done. Wouldnt want the bill if that went snap.

Thorin
Best jag ever in my opinion! loved racing that on the first need for speed! The first Need For Speed didn't have the XJ220 in it... unless I'm very much mistaken. It did have teh awesome Supra in it though http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcIw32LIwqo (can't view from work but that should be the "showcase" video from the game). Havard
One of my favourite machines of all time. Saw 3 race at Le Mans in 1993 (IIRC). None of them finished officially, one did but got disqualified....lol..!! Saw a burgundy one on the road at Le Mans a couple of years ago. I wish they'd have done something with the wheels though...... H.

j_jza80
One of the great supercars, although a bt of a let down after the concept one. Was supposed to be v12 powered and instead came with an engine out of a metro! They turn heads like nothing else.

lexsum
they should have made a twr version for market. better size (i think they were a shorter wheel base), power and performance. - silly spoiler though. posted this before but it is such a shameful act:
