Jake
£45k for a new UK spec in 1995, imports never cost that not even in Japan. That's right. In fact, new ones were about half that price when they stopped making them in '02 BTW, ISTR new UK specs were £42k and change when they stopped importing them in '96. dude
Now youve done it! Theres nothing wrong with Red !!!!! Until you want to sell it IMO the shade that T picked is horrible, when you see a nice mettalic one its a world of difference , Red cars are very out of vogue at the moment its all pastel mettalics and silvers , red will come back into fashion but not for a while Dude Heres the lengths people go to get away from RED !!! Aerotop Dave
Well if he gets that for it I'm well happy because that means mine's gone up by £3.5k! Usual cobblers though - leather interior (no, it's leather fronts and vinyl rears unless it's been retrimmed), 'unusually it has cruise control' (er, that would be 'unusual' as in standard fit for all TT Aerotops would it?!) and what's all this about 'The roof comes off very easily with approx 4 bolts using the supplied kit' - approximately 4 bolts?! What a strange way of phrasing it. Still, at least he didn't claim it as a Veilside when it's only got the Toyota side skirts and spats. Despite the oddities (and price) it actually looks quite a good car.
Bobbeh
BTW, ISTR new UK specs were £42k and change when they stopped importing them in '96. According to the 'bible' parkers guide you are correct.. http://www.parkers.co.uk/pricing/used_car/valuation.aspx?deriv=8199&plate=53&pay=false&buyorsell=buy ... now look at the pic, no wonder they dont value them now as much as they should.
