hoff
He has to speek to people like Sky, Adrian Flux, Bell, A-Plan etc. These are the people who will gote. There are plenty of guys on here his age, some with TT's and some with NA's. There is not a lot of differance between the quotes on the 2 usually:)
toyotasupra1980
will give him the info guys, he does want to get a supra, but the insurance prices kind of put him off, i mean i am 28, 4 years no claims, and currently paying around £650 with Egg Insurance, but when i had the FTO at 24 one company quoted me £8000 WTF, i would have to be on drugs to take that insurance, but egg was the only one to give me insurance on the FTO for under 25 at £1700, it all worked out in the end. SilverSoop
Quick, someone get me a glass of water - the sum of £3280 and £1700 together is just about the same total amount that I have paid on all of my car insurance policies since aged 19 (35 now:innocent:). I am so pleased my first car had 1300cc's instead of 3000:D Well there you go...shows how much i love the Supra lol...
SilverSoop
I had to pay £1700 for the first year of insurance on my 1.2 Punto at 19, and about £1200 for the following year - doesn't make the Supra insurance at that age seem that bad! Yeh very true! People say that what im paying is ridiculous, but im only 21 with a 3.0 TT...£1700 FC, personally, i dont think its that bad tbh... How much does he actually want to spend on insurance? How many years experience does he have? How many years no claims does he have? Where has he actually tried? What quotes has he been getting for what cars? MR2 is the best bet (for a decent jap car) as i insure mine for around £300 fully comp and its a turbo. He will still be looking at 1k though, and that would have to be a good area with a few years no claims.
