tbourner Posted June 26, 2008 Share Posted June 26, 2008 We all know the Supra is one of those timeless things, even today the shape is gorgeous and still outshines a lot of modern cars for looks and performance. But what about the future? If I decide to buy another Supra in 10 years time will I be plagued with issues and never be happy with it? Will I be better off buying a newer car? R Black Posted June 26, 2008 Share Posted June 26, 2008 Stateside several years ago they started doing restomods on 60's muscle, which is keeping the bodyshape & updating the driveline, suspension & interiors, ie the V8 that has been put into the Supra on supraforums, which i personally think is as good as it gets enginewise. Broken diffs on these cars are a rare thing and you're the only person I've ever heard of breaking more than one. Ive heard of a fair few of them breaking, cant see how they could be fitted wrong, i helped change it every time and its just a case of bolting them in, i even put a new donut and bush on them to be sure, imo its the big drifts and rolling burnouts that kill them.
