do i need to inform my insurance company that my car is off the road?

Not provided the car is taxed...and I think you only need to SORN it if it is off the road and out of tax.

My supra is SORNED but still insured as I still havent finished the jobs I was doing on it before getting it re MOTd :taped:

 

Im sure the insurance co doesnt mind some more free money!

Not really free money though, is it. I mean, I bet you would still claim if your car went up in flames or something.
